CHIEF OF POLICE
Carlos Enriquez is Chief of the Anthony, Texas, Police Department, also known as APD. He leads a department of 18 sworn law enforcement and 2 support personnel who carry out police operations within the City of Anthony 24 hours/ 7 days a week. Chief Enriquez believes in the utmost importance of good communication for a successful community. He has steadily worked to strengthen the bond between the people of Anthony and their police department. He has forged partnerships with elected officials, diverse community organizations, youth groups, district attorney, the defense bar, and the media. 






APD is composed of 1-Chief of Police, 1- Lieutenant, 1- Detective, 11- patrol officers to include 2- Sergeants, 1 Corporal, 2 officers assigned to specialized units, and 1- school resource Officer assigned to Anthony Independent School District under a current two-year service contract. Support personnel of APD include 2 Communication operator, and Chief’s Executive Administrative assistant.

It has been my pleasure to serve the Community of the Town of Anthony Texas as the Chief of Police since 2012. The agency prides its self in being the most professional agency as possible. Safety, education, community involvement, and Professionalism are our top priorities. 

The Anthony Police Department is dedicated to ensure the safety of all of our citizen's and visitors on a daily basis. I encourage you, our citizens, to interact with our officers and build rapport.
